Sometimes there is a blend of apples that you can tell is going to be pretty good. As they are milled and pressed there is just something about it that makes you think 'hang on, this is going to be good on its own'. And so it has been for several years now. Eastern Delight, for example, was a 'special' that worked.
This blend was strictly limited to 146 x 500ml bottles, which were bottle conditioned and presented with a gold top.
There were three varieties of apples pressed in 'Batch 15'. These were present in equal measure:
- Blenheim Orange
- Harry Masters Jersey
- Taylors Sweet
The cider was pressed in November 2011 and fermentated using natural yeast. Once completed, it was bottled with a small amount of priming sugar and left to mature fully.
